Its mission is to collect, preserve and exhibit items, and to disseminate information relating to the sports history of the University of Alabama. You may visit exhibits which include the Hall of Honor, The Tide Through Time, Coach Bryant’s Office, Crimson Tide Moments from the Broadcast Booth, and others. A docent will introduce you to the museum and be available for any questions.

Negro Southern League Museum — The final stop on your Sports Tour will be the The Negro Southern League Museum which tells the story of African-American baseball in America through the eyes of Birmingham, Alabama. The museum features the largest collection of original Negro League baseball artifacts in the country. It also features an on-site research center that is supported by a research team made up of seven of the top researchers in Negro League and Southern League baseball history. Whether you are a baseball enthusiast or a novice, the Negro Southern League Museum has something for you.
